Hand Block Printing Process
The Block
Wooden blocks are used to make the blocks. Intricate designs are hand carved with precision neatly on to these blocks using chisels or knives. There is a separate block for every colour in the design.
Printing
The block is dipped in colour and pressed hard on the fabric. This is a very skilled job as the labour has to use separate block for every colour. This technique takes years of experience to expertise.
The Finished Product
Once the printing is done, the bedsheets undergo multiple washing processes to cure the paint on it.

Wash and Care Instructions
1st Wash- Wash in cold water with a spoon of salt in it. This prevents the new colour from bleeding.Cold wash only. Do not wash in hot water. Washing in hot water might lead to colour leakage.No machine wash.Dry in shade and not under direct sunlight. This will ensure the colours do not fade away quickly and last a long time.
THREAD COUNT/TC
Thread Count implies the number of threads per square inch. It is generally perceived that the higher the TC, the better the quality.
But if not made from the right quality yarn, even a higher TC bedsheet will not be as soft as a lower TC bedsheet made from a higher quality yarn.
